FAMILY POTLUCK
We are having our first club potluck on Saturday, Jan. 26th starting at 5:30. We'd love to see as many people as possible. Basically, bring some food and whatever you want to drink.
EXPERIENCE THE PODIUM RACE INFORMATION MEETING
We'd like to ensure all our parents know what's happening with our U10 and U12 Podium race that will be held on Feb. 23 and 24. This meeting is especially valuable to our new families who aren't as familiar with what a race entails. Meetings will be held on both Saturday, Jan. 26 and Sunday, Jan. 27 at 9:15 am.
Don't forget YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR THIS RACE. If your child isn't entered, we will presume he/she will not be participating. You can sign up your child via the race link on the left of the blog (please ensure you click on the Podium race, not the Grouse race) or you can sign up via paper in the club cabin - paper sign up is locate on the kitchen bulletin board.
GROUPS
Since most of the groups are pretty settled now, I won't be posting any new lists in the club cabin. If there are any further changes, it will just be communicated via the coaches to the parents.
Hopefully the kids had a chance to experience the "gate environment" this weekend - it was great seeing so many of our new members rip up the course!
Also, we've had a request by the coaches that if you are planning to take home your child early, please inform the coach so he/she isn't expecting them for the remainder of the day.
